OBITUARY: Carl Dawe

Carl Dawe, 67, of Cumming, Ga., passed away on May 11. Dawe had served as national sales manager of heavy products for The Strong Co. Inc. of Pine Bluff, Ark., since 2002. The Strong Co. Inc. manufactures specialty cement products for manhole rehabilitation and a family of lightweight insulating cement products for various construction applications. Dawe was born in Charleston, S.C., on Feb. 10, 1943. He graduated from the University of Missouri. He worked in many industries and lived in many locations in the United States and traveled extensively as he believed in experiencing other cultures and seeing the world. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Sonya; mother Dorothy, sister Evelyn, sons Scott, Edward and spouses, and 4 grandchildren.
